Essex | Equine Veterinary Surgeon

 A state-of-the-art equine facility is looking to expand their team, in Essex.

• Salary of up to £65,000K  
• Equine Veterinary Surgeon | Working with another 4 dedicated Equine Vets on site, teamed up with 2 Veterinary Nurses
• Caseload will consist of first opinion care, including both hospitalised and ambulatory patients. More advanced treatments on site, consisting of laser surgery, some spinal and orthopaedic procedures.
• A flexible working week, 3 or 4 days can be accommodated
• Equal share of weekends and weeknights on call #
• 1 Week night on call every other week
• CPD Allowance & 3 days paid pro rata
• 6+ Weeks Annual leave, Birthdays off

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• MRCVS qualification
• RCVS registration
• Up-to-date CPD record

You must have a strong work ethic and provide a high standard of clinical service. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and team members. Being a team player is highly important for the role along with good organisational skills. Full UK driving licence. You will enjoy working within a busy practice with a wide variety of cases. Emergency out-of-hours work may include an occasional small holding animal (i.e. goat/alpaca).
