Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: 3-day week position inclusive of weekend rotation - £48,195 to £63,495 (£63,000 to £83,000 FTE) depending on experience

About the Role

This position offers a well-balanced rota, working Monday to Wednesday, with a collaborative overlap on Wednesdays. Supported by an enthusiastic veterinary colleague and a dedicated nursing team, you’ll enjoy working in a practice that has a friendly, ‘village’ feel. The schedule includes a 1:3 branch Saturday rotation, a 1:10 Sunday hospital rotation, and one bank holiday per year.

Putney’s practice is conveniently located near the River Thames and Putney High Street, in a vibrant area known for its Victorian architecture and café culture. With a loyal, insured client base, this role is ideal for a vet who values close client relationships and wants to make a difference in a tight-knit community.

You’ll have access to strong regional support, including guidance from an experienced regional head vet, and referral options at a nearby 24-hour hospital for complex cases and out-of-hours services.
