Advanced Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

Salary Range: Up to £102,000 per year
About the Role
Are you an experienced and ambitious veterinary surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? I am working with an established clinic who are seeking an advanced veterinary surgeon with expertise in orthopaedic and complex soft tissue surgery to join a state-of-the-art 24-hour hospital in South Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled clinical team while delivering exceptional care to patients and clients. Supported by an experienced Practice Manager, Head RVN, and a robust nursing team, you will thrive in a purpose-built facility featuring:
- Advanced Equipment: Digital x-ray, ultrasound, full-body CT scanner, and in-house laboratory.
- Modern Layout: Three large consulting rooms, two theatres, a spacious prep area, internal lab facilities, and dedicated learning spaces.
You will oversee the clinical team, nurture their development, and uphold the highest standards of veterinary care, with the support of regional teams.

Working Pattern & Relocation Support
- Schedule: Full-time (4 weekdays per week with a 1 in 6 weekend rota).
- Relocation: Comprehensive package available for candidates relocating from outside the UK or over 60 miles from their current address.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a CertAVP in Surgery.
- Demonstrate expertise in procedures such as TPLO/TTAs, spinal surgeries, fracture repairs, and advanced soft tissue techniques.
- Have a proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care and client service.
- Exhibit strong clinical leadership and coaching skills, fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Have experience with nurse consultations and schedule 3 procedures.
