About The Facility: Our client is a 24-hour veterinary hospital that provides both general practitioner and emergency services. Their state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a wide range of diagnostic equipment, including ultrasound, radiography machines, dental machines, dental x-ray, and a CT scanner. As a Night Shift Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of cases and build your expertise in both general practitioner and emergency care.

We Are Seeking a Night Shift Veterinarian (Full Time / Locum) to Join Our Client's Team:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform consultations and investigative procedures.
  • Handle emergency cases, e.g., foreign body ingestion, C-sections, and urethral obstructions.
  • Triage walk-in cases and provide necessary stabilization.
  • Provide emergency surgical intervention where required.
  • Provide hospital care and internal medicine investigations for our patients.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment like ultrasound and radiography machines and interpret the resulting images.
  • Work up medical cases and provide second opinions.
  • Provide in-hospital care and communicate updates to owners.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of veterinarians with different skill sets.

Job Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
  • Experience in emergency and critical care is preferred but not required.
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work night shifts and be on call as needed.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
