The Role
- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of pets; primarily household pets
- Examine animals to determine the nature of disease or injury and treat animals surgically or medically
- Communicate with referring veterinarians and surrounding team
- Care for and advise animal owners about sanitary measures, feeding, and general care to promote the health of animals
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training as appropriate
To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university
- ECFVG or PAVE if attended non-AVMA accredited university
- DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)
- Proficient general medicine, dental, and surgical experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in GP practice
