Salary: Up to £65,000K

Are you a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and dynamic team? We invite you to join a very well-established veterinary practice in Manchester, where they provide high-quality care to furry patients and their owners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations and surgical procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent care and advice to pet owners regarding their pets' health.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of veterinary care.

 

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working week: Choose from three or four days per week.
  • Day shifts: Can be flexible with shift patterns, clinic is open 8AM-8PM
  • Weekend shifts: Participate in 1:4 weekends, consulting only:
    • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
    • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

 

Team Structure:

  • The team consists of four veterinary surgeons, including:
    • One vet dedicated to consultations only.
    • Three vets performing a mixture of consultations and surgeries.
    • Two team members are Certificate Holders in Medicine/Imaging.
  • Also lucky to have a visiting orthopaedic specialist to provide additional support for complex cases.

Requirements:

  • A qualified veterinary surgeon with a valid veterinary license.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for animal care.
  • Experience in both consultations and surgeries is preferred but not essential.
