Global Veterinary Careers is currently supporting a full-service hospital and seeking a full-time Medical Director to spearhead a team of 3 DVMs. As the Medical Director, you will get the full support and freedom to practice high-quality medicine alongside dedicated time to design/implement strategy and identify growth opportunities, evolving the hospital to the next exciting period of growth.

The Role

 

Full-Time Medical Director role including:

 

· Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the hospital

· Financial responsibility for the monthly P&L

· Supervising all staff including relief veterinarians

· Full support provided from the non-clinical management team

· Dedicated surgery time including spays/neuters etc.

· Wellness and preventative care to a high standard

· Diagnostic imaging

· Work up your Internal medicine cases

· And more

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

 

· DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university

· NAVLE

· ECFVG or PAVE if attended non-AVMA accredited university

· DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)

· Proficient general medicine, dental, and surgical experience
