The Role
Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian role including:
- Triage – assessing patients to prioritise care based on the condition of the animal and in turn getting set up for daily practice
- Diagnostics and being proactive for emergency treatments
- Performing physical examinations
- Emergency surgery
- Medical management and administration ( team briefing if needed )
- Patient monitoring and after care
- Ability to be calm and be able to work under pressure

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited university
- NAVLE
- ECFVG or PAVE if attended non-AVMA accredited university
- DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)
- Proficient general medicine, dental, and surgical experience
