Job Description

GVC is providing recruitment support to a reputable veterinary practice based in West London, which is actively recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills who is comfortable working in sole charge and is eager to mentor and guide less experienced vets.

 

This well-established practice has been serving the community for 10 years and is located on the mezzanine level of a thriving pet store, providing a spacious, light-filled environment with excellent facilities. The practice is easily accessible, being within walking distance of the Central tube line and mainline train station.

 

Details of the role:

  • Role type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Rota details: 4 days a week (9am-7pm) with 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10:30am-4pm)
  • Salary: £85,000, commensurate with experience

Applicant requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the advertised position:

  • A relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university.
  • Extensive experience in a small animal practice.
  • Comfortable working in sole charge.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Licenced to provide veterinary care in the UK.

 

You'll be joining a small but dedicated team of two other vets, both of whom joined through an award-winning graduate scheme, and the practice owner. The team is supported by a head nurse, practice manager, students, VCAs, and receptionists, all committed to providing first-class care.
