Senior Veterinary Surgeon | Mixture of Mentoring and Clinical Excellence
Location: County Durham
Position: Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Starting Salary: £65,000 pro rata
Hours: 27 hours per week
Working Hours:
- 2 x 10-hour days: Wednesday and Thursday
- 1 x 7-hour day: Either Monday or Friday
- 1:3 Saturday mornings: 8:30 am to 12:00 pm (consults only)
Role Overview: I am seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly owned independent small animal practice on the beautiful North East coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary professional looking to take the next step in their career by leading and mentoring a talented veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the veterinary team, focusing on discussing cases, outcomes, and assisting in theatre where required.
- Engage in a mix of operating and consulting duties.
- Provide guidance and support to our RVNs and SVNs as they progress in their careers.
- Ensure high standards of clinical care and client satisfaction.
